Getting Started with Face IN

Welcome to Face IN

System Requirements

Before starting with Face IN, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

Quick Start Guide

  1. Create your Face IN account

    Register for an account on the Face IN platform to get started. You'll need to provide basic company information and select your subscription plan.

  2. Set up your organization

    Configure your company profile, departments, and working hours in the admin dashboard.

  3. Add employees

    Import your employee list using our CSV template or add employees manually with their photos for facial recognition.

  4. Install check-in points

    Set up tablets or computers at entry points where employees will check in and out.

  5. Start tracking attendance

    Your system is now ready to track attendance automatically using facial recognition.

User Guide

Employee Check-in/Check-out

Face IN makes the attendance process simple and efficient for employees:

Standard Check-in Process
  1. Approach the Face IN terminal or kiosk
  2. Stand within 0.5-1.5 meters of the camera
  3. Look directly at the camera for 1-2 seconds
  4. The system will automatically recognize your face
  5. A confirmation message will appear with your name and check-in time
  6. You will receive an optional email or SMS confirmation (if enabled)
The same process applies for both check-in and check-out. The system automatically determines which action to record based on your previous activity.
Mobile Check-in (Premium Feature)

For remote workers or field employees, our mobile check-in feature provides flexibility:

  1. Open the Face IN mobile app on your smartphone
  2. Tap the "Check In" or "Check Out" button
  3. Center your face in the camera frame
  4. The app will verify your identity and location
  5. A confirmation will appear, and the record will sync with the central system
Mobile check-in requires location services to be enabled. The system records your geographic location for verification purposes.

Employee Portal

Employees can access their own attendance records and manage personal information through the employee portal:

Access complete attendance logs showing check-in and check-out times, work hours calculation, and attendance status.

Time Off Requests

Submit vacation, sick leave, or other time-off requests directly through the portal with automated approval workflows.

Attendance Analytics

View personal attendance patterns, punctuality metrics, and work hour summaries with intuitive visualizations.

Notifications

Receive important announcements, schedule changes, and attendance-related alerts via the portal or email.
